PHYSICAL PAIN
Many don’t realize that pain and suffering can originate from aspects that are not physical but yet are very physical in how they feel. Let’s look at what the physical means.
Physical Pain is: Anything related to the anatomical body (foot, eye or even a blood cell). This information is directed to the brain from the outside inward. It is how we feel, perceive and or sense the world from the outside of our being, inward. This means objects can be hard or soft, sharp or dull and hot or cold. The perception in the physical is “it is what it is” and in this aspect walks hand in hand with the physical manifestation. Thus, a painful knee is just that; a painful knee. It hurts, it is swollen and red and it cannot be bent. The spectrum of possible causes for the swollen and painful knee can range from microscopic to the macroscopic. Which is why a “it is what it is” is an acceptable diagnosis for any licensed physician.
Many say that they believe in mind, body and spirit but almost everyone lacks the understanding and knowledge to communicate with all of those bodies to make themselves whole. Looking at someone as a whole and seeing precisely which of those bodies is out of balance and knowing when they need to be engaged, is what makes my practice unique.

EMOTIONAL PAIN
Emotional Pain Is: used to describe our thoughts and feelings about our world from the inside out. Emotions are related to our fears, anger, sadness, and judgment both of ourselves and others. Emotions show up through our words and emotions and the language we use: I can’t, I hate, I don’t want.
Many of us are unable to slow or quiet the mind. The mind naturally multi tasks. For example, when you are driving down the street in your car, your mind begins to think about bills that need to paid, due date for tasks or a loved ones’ health. These we will refer to as “stressors”. The light turns red and you stop your car, but your mind is still in the story of the “stressor”. The light turns green and you continue driving not only in your car but your mind as well. What we need to recognize, is that our physical and spiritual bodies are responding and reacting to those multi tasking patterns. Those patterns create tension that is conscious and subconscious, our body holds that tension. The accumulation of this tension can become painful, toxic and potentially deadly. The mind perceives that all is not as it seems. Meaning, you may have a a stressor that manifests as a painful swollen knee, because your body is giving you message regarding the stress you keep turning around in your mind.
SPIRITUAL PAIN
Spiritual Connection: is the way we feel about ourselves, whether aware or not, in the world. This connection comes from the inside out and is based on our experiences (aware of it or not) from the outside in. It is also the “story” we create about ourselves based on life’s experiences. The language of the spirit body is in art, music, poetry, ritual and ceremony. A spiritual issue or crisis is when we begin to physically embody our story. Symptoms manifest physically and emotionally, and are a way our higher selves grab our attention. The perception of the spirit body is “nothing is as it seems”. For example, someone may be experiencing heel pain that is the physical manifestation of not being able to progress forward in a job, relationship or life. It is connected to feeling as though they are not powerful and are just a victim of life’s circumstances.
Many don’t realize that pain and suffering can originate from aspects that are not physical but yet are very physical in how they feel. Many say that they believe in mind, body and spirit but almost everyone lacks the understanding and knowledge to communicate with all of those bodies to make themselves whole. This is what makes me Unique, being able to look at someone and see precisely which of those bodies is out of balance and knowing when they need to be engaged.

TRUE MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT HEALING
The “Mind, Body, Spirit Approach” seems to be a catch phrase for many holistic health offerings today. The words are often used to illustrate a more comprehensive treatment approach. However, more times than not these approaches only scratch the surface of what is really happening in each individual body. Mind, Body and spirit are a trinity, meaning that all three aspects form ONE THING. Each aspect is unique upon itself, yet it is the sum of the parts that makes us whole human beings. Each element wants to be on the same page as the other, which creates wholeness and wellbeing for the person. Many don’t realize that pain and suffering can originate from aspects that are not physical but yet are very physical in how they appear in the body. Many say that they believe in mind, body and spirit but almost everyone lacks the understanding and knowledge to communicate with ALL of these aspects to create wholeness in themselves. This is what makes me Unique, being able to look at someone and see precisely which of those bodies is out of balance and knowing when they need to be engaged. Making this connection and adjusting your being to reach maximum wellness is how I differ from other doctor’s. You don’t need to tell me what pain you are having, because your body will tell me. You don’t have go through a long history of illness because your spirit will show me the path. It is an open conversation between you, your mind, body and spirit and me as the practitioner to walk the path of healing together and completely. Instead of hopelessness and never ending searches for someone to help, we can focus on your healing together.
ABOUT DR SCOTT KIRCHER
The Body Whisperer: Within two weeks of graduation I was living on an island in the Caribbean, seemingly prepared to help the world through my chiropractic hands. Very soon after, the realities of living in a foreign land, not speaking any of the local languages and the challenges of island life set in. Getting caught up in those challenges was the source of much pain and suffering on different levels that I could not comprehend. I could not make sense of it. It was overwhelming, consuming with no escape in sight. As time went on, I kept discovering my gifts. Teachers presented themselves, and the chaos really wasn’t chaos after all. The challenges were not the world beating me down but rather the world giving me opportunities to grow and learn compassion. Some of my patients lovingly refer to me as a Christian/shamanic/Body Whisperer because they know and understand the other levels and that life is a journey. Unlocking the confusion is the art, working on the pieces is the discipline and people realizing their truth and potential, is my reward.
